Since I had nothing to do this day, I decided to take Katie to Lakeshore for free crafts. Luckily, I happened to go on a day that also had extra career theme crafts going on. I thought these crafts were pretty neat and definitely can replicate again at home in the future when Katie is older and would like to pretend role play. The first career craft is to make a police badge. We were given the badge shaped paper cut out, a star, and a string of yarn to tape on to it so you can hang it on the neck. Then you can decorate it however you like.
The second career craft is to make a chef hat. Basically you use a strip of paper and decorate it, then tape it together to fit your head. Then you use a piece of paper tissue to create the poof on the top and just tape it on from the inside, and ta-da, you have a chef hat. Katie, of course hated me trying to put that thing on her, so this is the best model picture I can get.
